Instructions
Preparation
Wash okra and pat dry it with clean and dry kitchen napkin or tissue.
Discard the both end of okra and then cut into small pieces.
Chopped the onion ,tomato and green chilli.
How to make Masala Bhindi
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan.
Saute bhindi on medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes or until there is nor more stickiness remains.
Trnasfer them in a plate and keep aside.
Add 2 tablespoon oil in a pan.
Add cumin seed when it begin to splutter add finely chopped onion.
Saute onion until they turn golden brown.
Add green chilli, saute for a minute.
Add ginger garlic paste ,saute until fragrant.
Add chopped tomatoes with pinch of salt and fry until they turn soft and mushy.
Now add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder.Saute for minute or until it leaves oil.
Add fried okra.Mix well.Add salt.Cook on low heat stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle garam masala powder and mix well.
Once the bhindi cooked transfer it into serving bowl.Garnish it with coriander leaves.
Serve the bhindi masala with roti, chapati, rice.
Notes
Pick okra which is bright colour pod. Avoid dull,bruised, soft, or blemished pods.
